We started because people could not get a car.
MCSyo is run from Perth by Alex Hugi. He drove Uber here himself, and he built the business around what he saw doing it.
How It Began
Alex started MCSyo in his final year at university. At the time the business sold car batteries, and he was working as an accountant.
When Uber arrived in Perth he started driving for it. He saw the problem from the driver's seat.
People wanted to work. They could not get a car. This was hardest for people who had just arrived in Australia.
The Problem He Saw
A new arrival has no Australian credit history. A bank will not lend to them. So they cannot buy a car.
No car means no work, however willing they are to do it.
MCSyo exists to remove that one step. We give you the car so you can start earning.

New To Perth
You arrived recently. You have a visa and a licence, but no credit history yet.
Driving Uber Or DiDi
You want to drive, or you already do, and you need a car that meets the rules.
Between Cars
Your car broke down or was written off. You need to keep working this week.
Why Toyota Hybrids Only
Fuel is the biggest cost in a driving week. A hybrid cuts it.
Toyota hybrids are also reliable and easy to service in Perth. A car sitting in a workshop earns you nothing.
Looked after properly, these cars do not break down the way most cars do. High kilometres do not stop them.
We have had cars pass one million kilometres on the original engine.
Every car we rent is a Toyota hybrid: the Prius, the Corolla, the Camry and the RAV4. All of them meet the Uber and DiDi rules for Western Australia.
Who Runs It
Alex Hugi is the owner. He is a CPA, a qualified accountant, and the qualification is current.
That matters here because renting is a money decision. He can explain the numbers to you honestly, in plain words.
He is not giving you financial advice, and he will not pretend to. He will tell you what the car costs and let you decide.
What We Are Not
- We are not a finance company. There is no loan and no credit check.
- We are not rent to own. You rent the car and give it back.
- We are not a day-to-day holiday hire company. We rent by the week, for work or for private use.
If you want to own a car instead of renting one, tell us. That is a different business and we will point you the right way.
