How to rent a car from us.
Four steps. You can do the first three on your phone. The last one takes about five minutes in person.
Pick Your Car
Choose a car on the Our Cars page. Pay the bond to hold it.
Send Your Licence
Take a photo of the front and back of your licence with your phone.
Book A Time
Pick a time to come and collect the car from us.
Sign And Drive
Sign the agreement, pay the first week, and take the car.

What You Pay Before You Drive
There are two payments before you take the car. The bond comes back to you. The first week of rent does not.
Example: A Car At $352 A Week
This is what a driver pays on the day they collect a car that costs $352 a week.
We hold the bond and give it back within 3 business days of you returning the car. We take off anything you owe and tell you in writing what we took and why.
The Bond Depends On The Car
Every car has its own weekly rent. You can see it on the car, on the Our Cars page.
The bond is $800 if your weekly rent is under $297, and $1,000 at $297 or more.

Call us before you come in. We will confirm the exact total for the car you want.
How Long You Rent For
The minimum rental is 13 weeks. That is about three months.
If you finish before 13 weeks, you pay a one off $100 admin fee. You do not pay for the weeks you did not use.
If you rent for 13 weeks or longer, there is no admin fee at all.
What We Pay For
We pay for servicing, maintenance, mechanical repairs and tyres. You will not get a repair bill from us for normal wear.

What You Pay For
These are the running costs that come with driving the car.
- Fuel. The cars take 98 premium unleaded only, and nothing else.
- Keeping the car clean.
- Windscreen repair or replacement.
- Any fines or tolls you get while driving.
- Topping up oil and fluids between services.
The App
You will use our app while you rent. It is free and it is part of the agreement.
You record the odometer reading every Sunday. That is how we know when your car is due for a service.
You also use the app to ask us questions and to book your service.
Ending The Rental
You give us 14 days notice through the app when you want to finish.
The billing week runs Monday to Sunday. Notice starts counting from the end of the week you give it in.
Bring the car back cleaned, with a full tank of 98, and give us the fuel receipt.
What To Bring On The Day
- Your driver licence card, not just a photo of it.
- Your visa details, if you are not an Australian citizen.
- A way to pay the bond and the first week.
- Your phone, so we can set up the app with you.
You do not need a bank loan. You do not need a credit check. You do not need an Australian credit history.
Common Questions

Do I need a credit check?
No. There is no credit check and no finance application. You are renting the car, not buying it.
I am on a visa. Can I rent?
Yes. Student, work, bridging and PR pathway visas are all fine.
Most of the people we help are new to Perth. Bring your visa details and your licence.
Are the cars ready for Uber and DiDi?
Yes. Every car in our fleet meets the Uber and DiDi rules for Western Australia.
That covers the age and condition of the car. You still need your own driver approval from the platform.
What if I drive a lot?
Drive as much as you want. Kilometres are unlimited and there are no distance charges.
Can I use the car for personal trips?
Yes. School runs, shopping and weekends away are all fine.
Can my partner drive it?
Only if they are listed on the agreement. Give us their details first and we will add them.
Letting someone drive who is not listed is a serious breach and carries a $2,000 penalty. Ask us first, it is easy to add a driver.
What happens if the car is damaged?
Tell us within two business days and we will arrange the repair.
There is a set fee for damage rather than a repair bill. Small scratches, scuffs and kerbed wheels are $800 per incident. Anything bigger is $3,000. Fair wear and tear costs you nothing.
What fuel do I have to use?
98 premium unleaded, every time. Not 91, not 95, not E10.
This protects the hybrid system. Using the wrong fuel breaches the agreement and you would pay for the damage.
Do I own the car at the end?
No. MCSyo is a rental. You rent the car and give it back when you are finished.
